Freedom & Magic & Rock'n Roll... ...more than just music, A Way of Life! In times of synthetic and computer-dominated sounds there grew in the singer and guitar player Mitsch the dream to rediscover the soul of Rock music, but still go his own way as a composer. REDROCK started in a tiny studio in the summer of 2002 when Mitsch produced the CD "Pieces". After a successful start and a big resonance for the CD, the live-formation was founded in the spring of 2003 with guitar, bass, drums and organ. The first gigs were performed in the same year. Member of the first hour was Marco Rämisch, still the drummer of the band. In the spring of 2004 producer Mitsch started recording the first long-player "Power for the Mighty", with guest-musicians like: Wolfman, Barbara Dennerlein and many more. The CD was mixed and mastered in the HD800Achtspur studio of Lopazz. Additionally, in the spring of 2005, Anja Viertel-Sondermann produced a video clip of the track "Moon in my Hand", which got a bonus place on the CD. After the successful release of "Power for the Mighty", in the autumn of 2005, Manuel Metzler picked up the guitar parts and Nico "1€" Kritzer took his place at the organ and the piano. In 2006 the first steps in the direction of "Videoart" were taken in cooperation with Vidalba. Movies of daily life and of nature were combined with paintings and arranged for the songs. After a year of progress the new show is ready and with it there will be new concept of the band… …the visuals will have the same emphasis as the music! As a VJ, Il Sardo becomes an additionall member of the band. "We of REDROCK don't think of ourselves as retro- or even revival, but more as reformers of rock music". Let it Rock!
